A small house making bangles the long way round
Siri began in 1984 with one workbench, one hammer and a stubborn belief that a bangle should be an object you hand down rather than throw out.
From four workshops, not four factories
We work with four family workshops — two in Jaipur, two in Kolkata. Between them they hold techniques that take a decade to learn and about ten minutes to lose: lac setting, meenakari enamel, hand engraving, glass drawing.
Everything is made in batches small enough that a single person can account for every piece. When something is imperfect, we keep it or we melt it. We do not discount it into the world.
Made by hand
Casting, filing, engraving, oxidising, polishing. Each stage handled by a specialist, never a machine line.
Paid per piece
Our workshops are paid per finished piece rather than per hour, so care is never the thing that gets cut.
Made to last
Solid metals, nickel-free finishes and free re-polishing for life. We would rather repair than replace.
